Dads Birthday Card

Well I am back again for my 3rd post of the day. My fathers birthday is the 15th of this month and I have been going nuts trying to figure out how I was going to make his birthday card. I am not really happy with the way this card turned out but probably because it looks rather plain to me. I dont know. The cards that I have made in the past for him I think turned out so much better. But I guess it is the thought that counts right?? Well here it is....

Cardstock- I used some cardstock I had on hand that looks like card board color
Paper- Tim Holtz Crowded Attic pack
Tickets and clock face- I found online awhile back doing a google search
Gears are Tim Holtz
The strip of paper on the bottom I embossed with a Tim Holtz texture plate, distressed it with vintage photo distress ink and then used a sanding block to rough up the top a bit.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

  5. I think it looks great. Most men like things more simple anyway, although I don't think it looks simple at all. I love the vintage steampunk feel you have created and the way you ripped the paper and inked it to distress it looks great. Thank you for your sweet comments you have left me, they mean a lot to me.
