Inspired by Stamping Flower of the Month Asters Cards

Hello crafty friends. Im  here today to share with you a couple of cards I made using the Flower of the Month: Aster stamp set that was released this month over at Inspired by Stamping. I had so much fun coloring up this beautiful flower.

Since fall officially began on the 22nd of September here in the States I decided to use fall colors for my card. I started with a white card base measuring 4.25" by 5.5". I layered a few pattern papers using Webster pages.

I stamped the Asters using Memento Tuxedo black ink onto white cardstock and colored in this beautiful flower using my Copic markers. After the image was all colored in, I used a spellbinders circle die to cut out the image, layered it onto a beautiful paper doily I had in my stash, and adhered it to the center of my card. I have noticed a lot of beautiful butterflies flying around our yard the last few days so it inspired me to add a couple of them to my card. To finish off the card, I added a sweet sentiment from the same stamp set.

My second card:

Can you tell I am having alot of fun playing with this stamp?
To create this card:
Plum cardstock and pattern paper: Stampin up
Stamps: Inspired by stamping "Flower of the month- Aster"
Dies : Inspired by stamping Fancy label 3 Dies
Spellbinders die
Inks: Distress ink/ Stampin up ink pad
Pearls: my stash

Thats it for me today. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you all have a beautiful week.
Hugs,
Shan

Here's the hop order
Shan (you are here)

Now for my card:

To create this card I started with a white card base that measures 4.25"x5.25". I took a piece of light blue card-stock, used my scorboard to score diagonal lines 1 inch apart to create this diamond checkered pattern and glued it to the card base. I then heat embossed the Welcome little angel sentiment. This beautiful stamp is from the Inspired by Stamping Big Notes III Stamp set. I cut out 2 stars on white card-stock and added some crystal stickles to the stars. To finish off the card, I added a piece of white ribbon and some flat back pearls. I just love the way this turned out.

Grace, Congratulations on your new bundle of joy!

Your next stop is Vicki's blog
Thank you for taking the time to hop with us.
Please stop by Grace's blog to Congratulate her and show some love.

Shabby Chic heart wall hanging

Good morning all. I hope you all are having a beautiful weekend. As for myself, I have the flu. It came on rather quickly Thursday night and will be sooo glad when it is gone. I did manage to craft for a couple hours yesterday morning.

A while back I was online shopping online looking for some fiber trim and ran across this absolutely gorgeous trim. When I purchased it I had thought about making some cute fuzzy crochet hearts for my projects. Well that was a real bust for me as I am a beginner and the fibers are so thick that I couldn't find my work thru it all. Lol. So I decided to take some floral stems and shape them into a heart. I then wrapped the fuzzy trim around the heart and this is the outcome.

Isn't it beautiful? I made this for a dear friend who is always so supportive of all my work. I really hope she likes this.

Well it's 2 am. I am off to try to get more rest. Thank you so much for stopping by.
Hugs,
Shan

My first post for Inspired by Stamping

Hello crafty friends.I hope you all had a wonderful week. Im here today to share with you  a starburst card I made using one of the beautiful sentiment stamps in the Big notes in French stamp set. I absolutely love the big notes stamp sets as there is always a perfect sentiment for any occasion and they are all so elegant.

To create this card, I layered black and pink card stock then created the starburst pattern using papers from Bo Bunny. I then stamped the sentiment with memento black tuxedo ink. I then added some pink and black trim to the bottom of the starburst. To embellish the card I fussy cut a couple of butterflies out of the paper collection I used and bent the wings up to give it a bit of dimension.
